Northeast Scuba's Most Popular Scuba Programs for Beginners

Learning to dive is easy!

Our three most popular options:

SSI Referral Program for Open Water
SSI Full Certification for Open Water
SSI Open water Certification PLUS your option for one Specialty Diving Course

Earning your SSI Open Water Scuba certification couldn't be easier and more convenient than signing up for one of our three option. Let me explain each option and how you earn you SSI Open Water (beginner level) certification.

SSI Referral Program for Open Water certification means that you will complete you academic and confined water training sessions with us. Our SSI staff of instructors, Dive Control Specialists and Divemasters will assist you in learning the required academic material, applying those principals to actual diving situations and ensuring your basic scuba skills are learned and practiced over and over during the pool training sessions.

Once you have completed the above sessions, we will issue a Universal Referral Form to you. So what's next? You have a vacation planned, probably a warm water destination, where you can complete your four (4) Open Water  Training dives with a resort and earn full SSI Open Water Certification. You pay us for the classroom and confined water sessions and you pay the resort for the four dives. This couldn't be easier and many divers opt for this training choice with vacations planned during our winter months. Cost: Tuition $395.00    Academic Materials $114.99   Total Referral Package Cost $509.99

SSI Full Certification for Open Water Diver with Northeast Scuba means you will complete the academic and confined water sessions and within six (6) months complete your four (4) Open Water dives with us to earn your certification. We do not conduct open water dives during the winter months. We generally begin open water training sessions in April (weather and water dependent).

So for those of you looking to complete all training sessions locally, we have the course, the convenient schedule and the professional staff to ensure you are properly trained to enjoy future underwater adventures. Cost: Tuition $495.00  Academic Materials $114.99  Total Full certification Package Cost $609.99

SSI Full Certification for Open Water Diver PLUS One SSI Specialty Diver Program allows you to learn the basics of scuba diving, earn your certification AND add a Specialty Diver course to further your diving abilities. This is a great way to enjoy another underwater activity, such as Digital Underwater Photography, Underwater Navigation, Perfect Buoyancy or Night and Limited Visibility Diving. These specialty courses offer additional training in regards to academics and water skills that further your diving abilities. You will want to dive more with these new skills under your belt.

As described in the two previous option you will complete all academic, confined water skills and open water skills to earn your SSI Open Water Certification. You will also participate in one or more academic training sessions dedicated to the Specialty Program you chose. The Specialty dives (2) will further you underwater skills and ensure you comfort and enjoyment while enjoying your underwater adventureground. The more you learn, the more you dive, the more you will enjoy diving both local and when traveling to other destinations.

Cost  Tuition for the Open Water and Specialty Program $695.00   Academic Materials for Open Water and you Specialty Program $159.99   Total Full Certification and Specialty Course Option $854.98
