Our plan is to visit two incredible places, the world renowned diving resort of Wakatobi and the critter capital of diving, Lembeh Strait. First we will fly into Bali a day or two before our departure date of July 1st, 2013 to fly from there on Wakatobi's own airplane for the short two and a half hour ride to the resort where you can choose between staying at their tropical beach front resort for a week with short boat rides to gorgeous dive sites nearby or go on Wakatobi's fantastic dive yacht (and it is a yacht!), the Pelagian for the week. We will be leaving Wakatobi on July 8th to then head to the capital of North Sulawesi, Monado and our week diving in Lembeh Straits where there are more amazing and spectacular creatures to be seen than anywhere else on the planet! .
This incredible Indonesia dive trip package includes several great options that will allow you maximum flexibility when planning for this trip. As noted above, you can stay at Wakatobi's beach dive resort or on their luxury dive vessel, the Pelagian. Both offer superb diving, great and knowledgeable guides, excellent accommodations and the food is fabulous, so either way you can't go wrong.
The Pelagian, Wakatobi's dive yacht, has five spacious cabins available with lots of storage and your own private bathrooms, and it serves some of the best meals you will ever eat! The beach resort has large, beautifully kept and comfortable bungalows right on or so close to the beach that it feels like you're truly in paradise. The beautiful Wakatobi resort restaurant offers the most delicious buffets. In fact they give you so many choices, including both Western and Indonesian cuisine, that it's hard not to gain weight!
The dive staff are absolutely dedicated to your complete satisfaction both on the yacht and at the resort. The guides are some of the best in the world as they are never in a hurry, always allow you plenty of dive time, help you locate those hard to find critters and there are never more than four people to one guide. Keeping the groups small allows you the opportunity to see and experience all the spectacular and pristine reefs, colorful fish and fantastic invertebrate creatures without feeling crowded or pressed for time.

Lembeh Resort is our second 5-Star destination in Indonesia. Located in the northern part of Indonesia, Lembeh Resort will provide us a look at other strange creatures found in their local Indonesian waters. We will be met at the airport in Monado by resort staff and brought to the resort. The Camera Room:
Lembeh Resort understands many of their guests will capture incredible photos while diving at the resort. The resort has left nothing to chance with photo/camera support. The camera room is spacious and equipment rinsing/drying facilities are only steps from the boat. "After your first dive, our dive team will see that your equipment is carried, rinsed and stored. For all future dives it will be loaded on the boat assembled and ready for your use. Our boat crews will treat camera gear with the respect it deserves. " How much more can you ask of a staff or resort?
Lembeh Resort is the only full time digital photo center in Lembeh Strait.

Diving Lembeh Strait
Lembeh Strait has many dive sites, located just a few minutes boat ride from the resort. There are over 50 different dive sites to visit. These sites vary from pristine reefs, to the famous "muck" diving locations that are habitat for some of the strangest creatures in the marine world, to wrecks. What's your pleasure for today's dive? The sites were too numerous for me to list and the list of critters that might be found on each site even more numerous. Suffice it to say you don't have to wait long to begin enjoying the amazing underwater world of Lembeh Straits.
