Today's customers have very busy schedules. Demands from work, family and other competing recreational activities take a toll on our daily lives and there is just so much that can be squeezed into a twenty-four hour day. SSI has implemented an on-line E-Learning option for those divers enrolling in the SSI Open Water Diver course.
If you have friends who would like to learn to dive but have expressed reluctance due to their busy schedules, then you might mention to them the availability of completing the academic portion of the world's most popular diving course on-line. By logging onto SSI's web page, www.divessi.com and clicking on the link for E-Learning the new student can quickly and easily sign up and immediately begin their academic training, all for free! SSI does not charge to use their E-Learning option; however, you will be required to come into Northeast Scuba and pick up your SSI Open Water Dive pack and complete the academic knowledge review with one of our instructors.
We have several time options for confined water sessions including weeknights or weekends. Once the confined water training is complete the new diver can then decide on whether they would like to complete their four open water dives here off the coast of Massachusetts or while on vacation (referral). Many new students opt for the referral option and successfully complete their Open water Diver certification while on vacation in the Caribbean for example.
